The glitz and glam of landscaping are few and far between. Let’s be honest folks, it’s a dirty, smelly job. In this line of work you must absolutely love what you do every day, regardless of the conditions, and it takes a special person to not only do it, but do it well. Occupational hazards abound: hornet stings, dog bites, sweat drenched clothes, poison ivy rashes, trimmer gashes, sunburn, tired feet and wet grass filth. Yes, we all enjoy seeing the after photos when a dramatic landscape project is completed, marveling at how amazing a property looks, but it’s the in-between that we often overlook. So I leave you with this question my friends – have you thanked your landscaper today?
