One of the best ways to maximize your backyard is to make it accessible. Many homes in the metro Atlanta area have walk-out basements which effectively add to the square footage. However, sometimes that leaves an unsafe way of moving from the front yard to the backyard when outside. The hilly terrain of North Georgia creates runoff and erosion, resulting in potentially dangerous slopes on the side yards of a home.
